Air Bleed Valve :
Fourteckh Enviro (India) Private Limited is a specialized manufacturer and supplier of industrial-grade Air Bleed Valves. These valves serve as a vital safety mechanism in air pollution control systems, designed to protect filter bags and downstream equipment from catastrophic damage caused by sudden temperature spikes or excessive vacuum conditions.
The Engineering Purpose :
In many industrial processes, the gas stream temperature can fluctuate rapidly. If the temperature exceeds the thermal rating of the filter media (in a Bag House or ESP), the bags can burn or melt. The Air Bleed Valve is strategically installed on the ducting to "bleed in" cooler ambient air, instantly tempering the gas stream to a safe operating level.
Key Technical Features :
- Rapid Response Actuation : Equipped with high-speed pneumatic cylinders or electric actuators that interface directly with Thermocouples/PLCs for near-instantaneous opening.
- Fail-Safe Reliability : Designed with "Fail-Open" or "Fail-Closed" or “last position hold” configurations to ensure the system remains protected even during a total power or compressed air failure.
- High-Temperature Sealing : Features specialized heat-resistant gaskets and precision-machined seats to ensure a leak-proof seal during normal operation, preventing energy loss.
- Robust Construction : The valve body is fabricated from heavy-duty Mild Steel or Stainless Steel (SS304/SS316) to withstand the high velocities and temperatures of flue gases.
- Aerodynamic Disc Design : The valve disc / multiple louvres are engineered to minimize turbulence when open, ensuring a smooth and rapid mix of ambient air into the process stream.
Critical Applications :
Our Air Bleed Valves are indispensable in sectors where thermal stability is a challenge :
- Cement & Steel Plants : Protecting Bag Filters during kiln or furnace surges.
- Waste-to-Energy : Stabilizing temperatures in flue gas treatment lines.
- Boiler Systems : Acting as an emergency cooling vent for exhaust gases.
- Foundries : Protecting suction fans and dust collectors from hot sparks and gases.
