Bucket Elevators (Vertical Conveying Systems)
Fourteckh Enviro (India) Private Limited is recognized as a leading Manufacturer, Supplier, and Exporter of high-capacity Bucket Elevators. Designed for the vertical transport of bulk materials, our elevators provide a space-saving, enclosed, and highly efficient solution for moving everything from fine powders to heavy minerals.
Engineered for Vertical Reach: Our Bucket Elevators are engineered to overcome the limitations of inclined conveyors, offering vertical lifts of up to 60 meters and up to 200 TPH. Whether application requires high-speed centrifugal discharge or a gentle gravity-based flow, we provide custom-built configurations to ensure zero spillage and maximum uptime. We offer a variety of bucket profiles (deep, shallow, or V-type) and casing finishes to meet the specific demands of the industry.
Technical Specifications & Configurations :
- Lift Height : Standard designs up to 50–60 meters.
- Drive Types : High-tensile Belt-driven or Heavy-duty Chain-driven (Single strand or Double Strand)
- Bucket Materials : MS, SS, or Polymeric (HDPE/Nylon) for food-grade or abrasive use.
- Casing : MS, or SS. Box type medium and heavy duty construction with additional reinforcement and stiffeners.
- Capacity : Scalable from small-batch processing to high-volume industrial loads up to 150-200 TPH.
- Safety Features : Backstops, speed sensors, and belt misalignment switches. For ease to inspection and maintenance of chain and buckets, we provide very low speed additional geared motor for inching with clutch arrangement.
System Components & Build Quality :
- Head Section : Features a precision-aligned head pulley/sprocket and a wear-resistant discharge chute. Includes a built-in backstop to prevent reverse travel during power failures.
- Boot Section : Designed for easy cleaning with high-quality tensioning (Take-up) systems—available in screw, spring-loaded, or gravity types to maintain optimal belt/chain tension.
- Enclosed Casing : Robust, dust-tight fabrication in Mild Steel or Stainless Steel ensures a clean environment and protects the material from external contamination.
- Drive Assembly : High-efficiency motors coupled with heavy-duty gearboxes provide the torque required for consistent vertical lifting. As an option we provide inching geared motor with clutch arrangement for ease to Inspection and Maintenance of the chain and buckets.
Working Principle: The Lifting Cycle :
- Loading (The Boot) : Material enters the boot section via gravity or a feeder. The buckets scoop the material (Centrifugal) or receive it directly (Continuous) as they pass the bottom pulley.
- Ascent : The buckets, securely attached to a high-strength belt or chain, move vertically within the dust-tight casing.
- Discharge (The Head) : As buckets pass over the head pulley :
- Centrifugal Discharge : High-speed rotation "flings" free-flowing material into the outlet.
- Gravity/Continuous Discharge : Slower speeds allow fragile or sluggish material to flow out naturally, minimizing product breakage.
- Return : Empty buckets travel down the return side, ready for the next cycle, ensuring a continuous flow of material.
Key Advantages :
- Minimal Footprint : Replaces long, inclined conveyors, saving valuable factory floor space.
- Dust & Weather Protection : The completely enclosed structure prevents material loss and protects the environment from airborne dust.
- Low Energy Consumption : Lifting vertically is significantly more energy-efficient than pneumatic conveying for large volumes.
- Versatility : Capable of handling hot, abrasive, or fragile materials with specialized bucket and belt/chain selections.
Industry Applications :
- Agriculture : Grains, seeds, and pulses.
- Construction : Cement, sand, gravel, and crushed stone.
- Energy : Coal and biomass handling for power plants.
- Process Industries : Fertilizers, chemicals, and pharmaceutical powders, Rock phosphates.
- Steel and Mining : In steel, metallurgical, mining, DIP, Sand.
