Cyclone Separators
Fourteckh Enviro (India) Private Limited is a distinguished Manufacturer, Supplier, and Exporter of high-performance Cyclone Separators. Our cyclones are engineered to provide a cost-effective, filter-less solution for removing coarse to medium-sized particulates from air or gas streams. Our cyclones are built for longevity, featuring robust welded construction and precision-balanced inlets to minimize turbulence and energy loss.
Technical Features & Capabilities :
- Efficiency : Up to 80-90% for coarse particles (dependent on bulk density).
- Material Construction : Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel (304/316), or Abrasion-Resistant Alloys.
- Inlet Configuration : Tangential, Involute, or Axial flow designs
- Operating Conditions : Capable of handling extreme high-temperature gases up to 500 deg. Cent.
- Maintenance : Zero moving parts inside the chamber; low wear-and-tear.
Working Principle :
- Unlike bag filters that rely on media, a Cyclone Separator uses centrifugal force and inertia. By forcing dust-laden gas into a high-velocity spiral, the system utilizes the mass of the particles themselves to drive separation—making it the most durable solution for heavy-duty industrial processing.
- The Double Vortex Principle
- Tangential Entry : Dirty gas enters the cylindrical chamber at high velocity. The entry angle forces the gas into a downward spiral along the inner wall.
- Centrifugal Force : As the gas spins, the heavier solid particles are thrown outward against the walls.
- Gravity Descent : As particles lose kinetic energy through friction against the wall, they slide downward into the conical section.
- The Vortex Reversal : Near the bottom, the air current reverses direction, forming a tighter inner vortex that travels upward through the center of the cylinder.
- Clean Air Exit : The cleaned air exits through the Vortex Finder (top outlet), while the dust is collected in the hopper below, sealed by a rotary airlock or manual valve
Key Specialized Models :
- High-Efficiency Cyclones : Designed with a longer cone and smaller diameter to maximize centrifugal force for finer dust.
- Multicyclones : A battery of small-diameter cyclones in a single housing, ideal for high gas volumes with higher collection efficiency.
- Abrasive-Duty Cyclones : Lined with ceramic or hardened steel for handling minerals, ores, and sand.
- Hydro-cyclones : Specialized for liquid-solid separation in wastewater or mineral processing.
Applications as a Pre-Cleaner :
Our Cyclone Separators are frequently used as Primary Collectors situated before a Bag Filter or Scrubber. This "Serial Filtration" approach :
- Reduces the dust load on expensive filter bags.
- Prevents glowing sparks from reaching the baghouse (Fire Prevention).
- Lowers overall system pressure drop, saving electricity
Primary Industry Sectors :
- Pneumatic Conveying : Separating material from air at the end of a transport line.
- Boilers & Furnaces : Capturing fly ash and sparks from flue gases.
- Woodworking : Removing sawdust and wood chips.
- Mining & Cement : Handling heavy mineral dust and clinker.
- Chemicals : Recovering valuable powder products from the process stream.
- Process Industries : Cement, Gypsum, Clay, Lime, Chemicals, and Pharmaceuticals.
