Double Flap Valve : High-Integrity Airlock Solutions for Abrasive & High-Temp Solids
Fourteckh Enviro (India) Private Limited is a recognized leader in the manufacturing and export of high-performance Double Flap Valves. Designed for environments where a 100% airtight seal is mandatory, our Double Flap Valves provide a "sequential lock" that allows for the continuous discharge of bulk solids without the loss of system pressure.
The Engineering Advantage :
Unlike rotary valves, which have a constant (albeit small) clearance, the Double Flap Valve utilizes a compression seal. The flap plate is pressed against the seat by mechanical force, ensuring a near-zero leakage rate. This makes it the superior choice for high-vacuum or high-pressure systems where air leakage could compromise process efficiency.
Key Technical Features :
- Sequential "Double-Lock" Action : Two independent flap plates operate in a timed cycle. At any given moment, one flap is always closed, maintaining a permanent air seal between the hopper and the atmosphere
- Abrasive-Resistant Seating : Since the flaps seat by vertical pressure rather than sliding friction, they are ideal for handling highly abrasive materials like Clinker, Sinter, and Fly Ash.
- High-Temperature Tolerance : Engineered to operate in extreme heat (up to 600°C with specialized alloys), making it perfect for furnace and kiln discharge.
- Self-Cleaning Geometry : The steep internal valley angles prevent material bridging and ensure that even fine, dusty materials flow freely.
Multiple Drive Options :
- Motorized (Cam-Operated) : For precise, continuous cycling.
- Pneumatic : For rapid discharge or hazardous environments.
- Gravity / Counterweight : A cost-effective, self-operating solution for lower-pressure differentials.
Versatile Industrial Applications :
Our Double Flap Valves are essential for moving dry, granular, and free-flowing solids between areas of differing air pressure:
- Dust Collection : Ideal for Bag Houses, Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP), and Cyclone drop-out boxes.
- Power & Cement : Handling Fly Ash, Cement, Lime, and Clinker.
- Wood & Biomass : Managing Sawdust and wood chips in pneumatic conveying systems.
- Mining : Transferring sand, ore concentrates, and sintered material.
