Fourteckh Enviro (India) Private Limited manufactures heavy-duty Rod Gates designed for the isolation of coarse, abrasive, and large-sized bulk solids. Unlike traditional solid-plate slide gates, Rod Gates utilize a series of individual pointed steel rods to cut through a column of material, making them the ideal solution for emergency shut-off or maintenance isolation under hoppers, bins, and silos. The Rod Gate operates by manually or hydraulically driving high-strength steel rods through the material stream. Because the rods have a small surface area compared to a solid plate, they can penetrate "clogged" or "bridged" material with significantly less force. This design allows for a partial or full shut-off even when the hopper is full of heavy ores, coal, or large aggregates. Our designs feature generous rod-guides to prevent jamming and locking pins to ensure the rods stay in place once the gate is closed. For extremely wide hoppers, we provide reinforced "Rod Supports" to prevent sagging, ensuring that Fourteckh gates remain the most durable isolation solution in your plant.
